The early morning sun on one of the many groynes on Aberdeen beach. Aberdeen Beach is a 2 mile section from the River Dee North to the River Don. It is part of a beach that continues North to Newburgh Sands. The beach has anti-erosion groynes which go from the shore out to sea that can be a hazard at higher tides.
